Smoke Detector
As you know, the fire department's visit allowed us to update the compliance of smoke detectors in several residences. Since the St. Petersburg Fire Department offers free smoke detector evaluation and replacement year-round, we are now transferring the responsibility to each homeowner to contact the fire department when their detectors reach the end of their service life or when installing new ones.
You can make this request by phone at 727-893-7233 or online at fire.stpete.org. Under the "Forms and Requests" tab, complete the "Home Safe Request" form.
